The process for businesses needing to access their Companies House Accounts is currently being changed, with businesses soon needing to set up and use the Gov.uk One Login system.
The new system offers a straightforward and secure way to manage company information, with a single account, username and password for all government services, along with two-factor authentication for added security.

The move to Gov.uk One Login will be introduced in phases. The first phase is already in place – a private beta for selected users, and it will be followed by a public beta, before becoming mandatory for all companies accessing the ‘Find and update company information’ service by the end of 2024.
The WebFiling service will transition at a later date, with plenty of notice provided beforehand.
