Users of QuickBooks Desktop will be glad to hear that the deadline for the discontinuation of QuickBooks Desktop has been extended until 30 June 2023.

This will mean that you continue to enjoy access to this platform until then. QuickBooks has taken this decision to ensure that you have ample time to prepare for the future and enjoy a smoother migration experience.

QuickBooks is working with MoveMyBooks to help with the transition to the new QuickBooks Online platform.

This software is a data conversion tool for accounting software, giving you the option of transferring your historical accounting data easily to QuickBooks Online.

QuickBooks has said that those switching to alternative accounting software will continue to receive support and guidance, where possible.

They are now in the process of contacting QuickBooks Desktop users to discuss their migration options and further information on how to access historical accounting data after QuickBooks Desktop is discontinued.
