Resources for Autism have thanked staff from Grunberg & Co who took time out from their work as busy professionals to help with the day-to-day running of the charity.
Located on the Finchley Road, Resources for Autism provides practical services for children and adults with an autistic spectrum condition and for those who love and care for them.
Several of Grunberg & Co’s team have volunteered to help the charity, as part of its support of the organisation as the firm’s charity of the year.
Sarah Dorey, Michelle Dreyer and Kajaal Ganesh were among those who put their names forward and spent the day clearing and organising the charity’s attic to make it more accessible to the charity’s volunteers.
Meanwhile, Shail Phlora helped the charity set up art boxes for their summer camps and called individuals to confirm their attendance.
Speaking about their work for the charity, Shail said: “I’m sure we would all agree we found it extremely rewarding and insightful being able to see first-hand how the charity helps individuals with autism.”
Robert Bean, Managing Partner at Grunberg & Co, said: “Everyone at the firm is really proud of these volunteers for taking time to go and help Resources for Autism and I would like to thank them for all the excellent work they have done there.”
Liza Dresner, Resources for Autism’s Director, said “It is impossible to over value the work done by the Grunberg volunteers. They have been so generous with their time and energy and helped us to provide a summer play service to remember for more than 200 children with Autism who would otherwise be excluded”
Grunberg & Co has held a number of events this year to raise money and awareness for Resources for Autism and will be taking part in the London Brighton Cycle Ride in September in aid of the organisation.
