Great Ormond Street Hospital has received a donation of nearly £6,500 thanks to Grunberg & Co’s year of fundraising.
Staff from the firm have taken part in tough challenges, enjoyed a wine and cheese night and sold a whole host of baked goods throughout 2017 to raise money for the hospital, which helps thousands of children and their families every year.
Supported by donations from friends, families and clients, the team at Grunberg & Co completed the Cotswold Way Challenge and the Thames Bridges Challenge, covering hundreds of miles between the staff members that took part.
Robert Bean, Managing Partner at Grunberg & Co, said: “We are excited to have raised so much in a year for this fantastic cause. Little did we know 12 months ago when we started raising money for Great Ormond Street Hospital that we would have such fantastic support.
“We hope that this donation will make a big difference to the children that require treatment at the hospital and their relatives.”
Laura Savory, Head of Community Events at Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity said: “We’re so grateful to everyone at Grunberg & Co for their generosity and support. The money raised will help to make a difference to seriously ill children from across the UK.”
