A TV production company behind hit programmes such as Classic Car Rescue and Chinese Food in Minutes has spoken about its work with one of the sector’s leading specialist accountants.
Blink Films was launched a decade ago by Dan Chambers and his business partner Justine Kershaw.
Last year the company produced more than 50 hours of television for channels in the UK and overseas.
However, they have recently reflected on the important support they have had from Grunberg & Co – one of the UK’s Top 100 accountancy firms.
Grunberg & Co were originally recommended to Blink Films on their levels of tax and accountancy expertise.
Speaking about his work with Grunberg & Co, Dan said: “Up until a few years ago they conducted the annual accounts and audits for Blink Films and they were with us as we grew into a multi-million pound business.
“I was impressed by their service, and took them on as my personal accountant and continue to benefit from their support.
“Robert Bean has always been massively helpful with the tax advice he has provided to me and his expertise was invaluable for my personal tax affairs in the part sale of Blink Films.”
He added that he was absolutely delighted with the level of service he had been provided by Grunberg & Co.
Robert Bean, Managing Partner at Grunberg & Co, said: “We have thoroughly enjoyed supporting the team at Blink Films. They have been involved in some interesting projects and we hope that our support with these and the overall operations have been beneficial to them.
“The media sector is currently booming in the UK and some firms may not be aware of the opportunities open to them if they seek the right professional adviser. We hope to be able to support more businesses like Blink Film in the future.”
