Grunberg & Co reach new heights for charity by conquering the O2

Several members of staff from London accountancy firm Grunberg & Co have helped to raise hundreds of pounds for charity, by climbing to the top of the iconic O2.

Robert Bean, Sarah Dorey, Fatima Matar and Raz Miah swapped their smart suits for a harness as they clambered 164 feet up to the top of the dome to raise money for Miracles.

Chosen as the firm’s charity of the year, Miracles supports children and their families living in poverty and helps them through crises such as serious illness. They respond to calls for support within 24 hours which is what makes them unique.

The climb to the top of the O2 is the latest in a series of fundraising events held by the firm, which to date has helped them to raise almost £5,000.

Robert who is Managing Partner at the firm, which has offices in north London and The City of London, said: “Climbing the O2 was both incredible and slightly terrifying at the same time, especially with the wet and windy conditions. Many thanks have to go to the rest of the team who joined me and the rest of our firm who rallied behind us.”

Following his climb to the top of the O2 Robert, who is a trustee of the charity, was also honoured to be a guest at Miracle’s 25th anniversary dinner.

“We are truly honoured to be working with Miracles and are delighted to have raised so much so far,” Robert added.
