In the spirit of Euro 2024, we have kicked off a special charity sweepstakes, engaging staff and supporting a noble cause.
Organised by our firm’s Associate Directors, this initiative aims to boost morale and contribute to Cancer Research, our chosen charity for the year.
Recognising the excitement surrounding the Euros, the firm cleverly included two tickets for each of the 24 competing teams, creating a total of 48 chances to win.
The tickets quickly captured the enthusiasm of the staff, selling out rapidly soon after the sweepstake was announced.
“The response from our team was incredible. We sold the first few tickets within minutes and were sold out in just a few days. It’s heartening to see such enthusiasm not only for football but also for a great cause,” said Sarah Dorey, Associate Director.
Thanks to the generous participation of the staff, we have raised just over £300 for Cancer Research.
To maximise the impact, the Associate Directors have decided to cover the cost of the prizes themselves, ensuring that all ticket proceeds go directly to the charity. This means that the lucky winners who draw the championship team will each receive a prize of £50!
This sweepstake is part of our firm’s ongoing commitment to giving back to the community and fostering a supportive and engaging work environment.
By aligning this fun event with a cause we care deeply about, we are not only celebrating a major sporting event but also supporting crucial research in the fight against cancer.
