Staff and partners at Grunberg & Co, a leading London accountancy firm, have celebrated the success of their colleagues who have completed the London Halloween Walk in aid of Resources for Autism.
Ten members of staff from the Top 100 practice took part in the scary stroll across London, which saw them complete a 15Km walk around the city centre.
Joined by hundreds of other walkers, dressed in a variety of ghoulish get-ups, the team kept marching through the night to raise money for the firm’s charity of the year, which provides practical support to children and adults with an autistic spectrum condition and those who care for them.
Michelle Dryer, Sarah Dorey, Robert Bean, Shail Phlora, Nimesh Patel, Asha Kara, Gerry Dooley, Charu Makwana, Win Mar Thant and Kay Ghanesh each crossed the finish line and have managed to raise hundreds of pounds.
Robert Bean, Managing Partner at the firm, said: “We all had a fantastic time taking part in the London Halloween Walk and it was great to see so many people turnout in their costumes – it really brought this event to life.
“Everyone really put their best foot forward for this one, with the knowledge that they were raising money for such a good cause.”
To date, Grunberg & Co has raised nearly £5,600 for the charity but has high hopes of soon reaching its annual target of £7,500.
