David is a Consultant at Grunberg & Co which he founded in May 1990. He was born in 1958 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1981.
His specialities include the property, travel and fashion sectors, insurance brokers and owner/managed business entities. He also heads the Forensic department within the firm which involves him in acting as an Expert Witness in Court from time to time.
David is also a proud council member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales London Council, having been selected by his fellow peers in the profession for this forward-thinking approach.
David’s philanthropic work includes fund raising for the Weizmann Institute UK, whose mission is to communicate and support the work of the Institute’s scientists, striving to champion scientific exploration, being science for the benefit of humanity.
Having driven from London to Jerusalem three times, and once to St Petersburg through the Arctic Circle, to raise money for handicapped children has allowed David a chance to practice his driving skills, so he can indulge in his passion for motor racing (much to the chagrin of his wife!). David will do anything to raise money for charity – within reason!!
David’s everyday car is nearly forty years old and is as uncomfortable as a sardine tin, as many of the staff can verify. Yet, conversely, the car seems to keep him young and clear headed.
David lives in North London with his wife Louise. He has 2 children, one of whom, he is proud to say, works for Grunberg & Co.
